To preserve, protect and enhance the quality of life in the City of Diamond Bar by establishing programs and facilities to address the cultural, recreational and social needs of the community.
About the DBCF
The Diamond Bar Community Foundation was established to raise money for art, recreation, and cultural programs in the City of Diamond Bar.
The Diamond Bar Community Foundation was originally started by the City of Diamond Bar to support Recreation programs for the city. The DBCF received its non-profit 501C3 designation in 2001. Under the leadership of then Board President Ling-Ling Chang, the Foundation branched off from the city and became a stand-alone Community Foundation.
The DBCF is proud to provide sports scholarships and equipment for youth in our community, approve grants for organizations with requests that fit our mission statement, fund an additional Concert in the Park each summer, support the DB4Youth program, provide art scholarships, host a benefit concert for our local high school music programs and award cash prizes for the City of Diamond Bar Photo Contest.
2012 marked the fourth Benefit Concert hosted by The Diamond Bar Community Foundation. “Spotlight on the Arts”, held at Mt. San Antonio College’s Sophia B. Clarke Theatre, supports music programs at Diamond Bar High School, Diamond Ranch High School, and Pacific Crest Drum and Bugle Corps.
The Diamond Bar Community Foundation continues to support and fund programs that benefit the residents of Diamond Bar. The Foundation Board Members are very proud of our contribution to the community.
